Artist Statement

My Practice revolves around the investigation and inspection of past visions of the future, or worlds, that best navigate the here and now. My paintings explore the intersections and portrayals of masculinity, intimacy, nostalgia and reality through Objects, Pulp Novels, Kitsch, and Pop Culture. My work appropriates these objects, visions and myths creating new forms and narratives which highlight these fantasies and at times lived realities.
