Artist Statement

I currently reside in San Francisco and have worked in Emeryville for over six years. I create oil paintings in both my studio and en plein air. I find that familiar people, places, and objects are inherently special and interesting so I aim to describe them as they are. I am always striving to paint in a manner that is fun to me while still creating a technically successful piece of art.
